Spent new year's eve at a B&B in Soweto and it was amazing! the hosts were so friendly and made us feel at home. the place was very quiet and clean and we had the best sleep. the location was perfect, close to all the must-see spots in Soweto. We didn't have a car, but the hosts helped us hire a private driver who was so helpful and made getting around easy. the breakfast was delicious and we loved the traditional options - definitely a highlight for us.
There weren't many shops or restaurants close by, but we didn't mind since we were there to experience Soweto. It's definitely a place for those who want to see the real side of Johannesburg and not just the touristy parts.

The B&B offered a quiet and clean environment which was perfect for a relaxing stay. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, providing true Soweto hospitality. The location was key, allowing for a true glimpse of Soweto and its vibrant culture. The neighborhood had a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The lack of infrastructure in the area was a drawback. There were no nearby restaurants or shops, making it difficult to find food or other essentials without a car or private driver.

If you're looking for genuine Soweto hospitality, this B&B is a great choice. the host, Maria, is incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. the rooms are clean and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. the breakfast served is delicious and satisfying.
It is worth noting that the lack of nearby infrastructure, such as restaurants and shops, may require guests to have their own transportation.
